Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Minority Senator seeks a Professional Staff Member to support the Committee’s oversight and legislative activities related to cybersecurity, intelligence and analysis, and critical infrastructure. Primary responsibilities include the entrepreneurial development and execution of legislative and oversight actions within the Committee’s jurisdiction; conducting research; drafting official correspondence; preparing the Senator for Committee hearings; meeting with stakeholders; and other associated responsibilities. This is not an entry level position. Candidates must be exceptionally strong writers, detail-oriented, be able to work under tight deadlines, and be able to handle multiple projects at once. Title and salary will be based on education and experience.
