Conservative Republican Senator has an opening for a legislative correspondent (LC) with excellent writing, research, and communication skills in his Washington, D.C. office. The LC will be responsible for supporting the office’s general counsel with handling immigration, firearms, criminal justice, law enforcement, religious liberty, and other judiciary-related issues. Duties include managing all constituent correspondence within the portfolio, drafting letters, meeting with constituent groups, and assisting the general counsel with policy research, memos, talking points, and special projects. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, possess a strong attention to detail, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Please no drop-ins or phone calls.
