Legal Fellow 226855
Democratic U.S. Senator is seeking a current law student or recent law graduate for legal fellowship. The fellow will work on the legislative team that manages the judiciary portfolio. The legal fellow will participate in a variety of projects, including conducting legal research, writing oversight letters, drafting legislation, and preparing memoranda and materials for hearings. Fellows interested in domestic violence, human trafficking, law enforcement, and similar issues are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, and have strong written and oral communication skills. Applicants must either (1) be currently enrolled in an accredited JD program, or (2) have a JD from an accredited program. Demonstrated interest in public service is preferred.
